It can be quite a challenge to decide what to do first in the city of Charlotte, with all the things to do and see there.  The three most appealing and reputable places to see here, however are the Mint Museum Uptown, the Carolina Raptor Center and the Historic Rosedale Plantation.  The famous Mint Museum of Craft and Design houses collections of American and European art.  The facility has expansive galleries and wonderful accommodations for its visitors – spaces for learning, shopping and dining.   The Carolina Raptor Center is located just out of the city of Charlotte and is home to more than 10 000 rescued eagles, owls, vultures and hawks.  The center is one of the largest similar facilities in the United States and offers educational classes of how to become a rescue volunteer.  The next top place to see in Charlotte is the Historic Rosedale Plantation, which is a wonderful example of a Federal style house, built in 1815.
Charlotte’s visitors never run the risk to become bored as there are a great number of outdoor and indoor activities to enjoy and choose from.  One of the top things to do there is to visit the Nascar Hall of Fame, and go through its exhibits, or try a race simulation yourself.  Other fun adventures are offered at Carowinds amusement park, where you can try Ferris wheels, roller coasters, special effects shows, or visit the water park.  The next fun thing to do is to become for few hours a professional car racer at Richard Petty Driving Experience.  Here you will get to drive a race car and receive instruction from real drivers.
